The T-Joy integrated tactile signal and pathway system is designed according to the minimum parameters within the CEN/TS 15209 technical standard.
The particular innovation of this system is to provide the visually impaired person with both tactile and, in facilities where the service has been activated, vocal information. Ensuring safety and autonomy of movement for people with visual impairment requires that the physical environment be compatible with their orientation needs. The blind or visually impaired person, in order to move in space, uses certain signs called “natural guides,” which are special environmental situations that enable him or her to orient themselves independently. Examples of natural guides are a sidewalk curb that can be perceived with the feet or a cane, or an audible attention signal, or even a wall that delimits a space.
The tool that enables sensory accessibility to places and spaces with public access and use is the I.T.T. ground-based tactile indicator system.

Components
- All components can be integrated with RFG tags

Straight direction
- Consisting of a single M-PVC-P tile integrated with RFG 134.2Khz Tag of size 15x60 cm equipped with grooves parallel to the direction of travel.
- It indicates the straight direction.
Attention
- Consisting of an M-PVC-P tile of size 30x30 cm integrated with RFG 134.2Khz tag bearing spherical caps arranged in a diagonal lattice
- It indicates an attention situation.
